Ah didn't know that. I looked at the link and can't tell - were those tolling stations out on the bridge, or at one end?

But I would add, the big difference is still volume. The Portland metro has grown 200% since 1960, and 15% just between 2000-2010.

Lol. Yeah. I remember the tolls ... and I'm not THAT old.

The toll stations were at the southern (in Oregon) end of the bridge.

They should keep the existing bridges unchanged, and add a new bridge that's northbound only, with tolls for non-Oregon license plates. Then if Washington wants to relieve congestion in Vancouver, they can build a southbound bridge.
