Please post your fall color photos of Portland!

I'll start as I could not resist the sunny day last weekend, so spent a bit of time running around Portland getting some pictures of the fall colors.

Taken last Friday, at the Campus of one of our local Sports Apparel Manufacturers.

From the Rose Gardens

Lone Fir Cemetery, I highly recommend the historic tour that Friends of the Lone Fir Cemetery puts on.

Among the many gorgeous headstones in the cemetery is this statue dedicated to US Army Veterans. Each side of the pedestal is dedicated to a different war, the Civil War, the Indian Wars, the Spanish-American War, and the American Revolution.

Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing them. Good thing you went out last weekend and not today. Although today is gorgeous in it's own way. Call me weird, but I love all the rain and wind.

Thank you both. Please post your own! I didn't get out to take as many pictures as I wanted to, and now most the leaves are gone in this storm.

I love to walk in The Lone Fir Cemetery which is not far from where I live. I did an essay for a writing class about it once.

Thanks for the lovely pictures.

Thanks for sharing! The cemetery shots are especially beautiful. Here are some photos my boyfriend and I took around Mirror Lake and Mt. Hood in late October. (Hope no one minds that they are not of Portland proper.)

I love this state.

Here are a couple: first is a bright tree outside the Capitol Hill library, second is looking down on the reservoir from above at Mt. Tabor Park.

I haven't put pictures in a post before; hopefully these will come out okay.
