Is it because they don't understand the other amendments, or that they don't agree with them. If you can't spell Constition, how could you possibly support it?
Wow! Really? Where in the Constitution does it say the gov't has to power to force me to buy something. You libs reinvent the Constitution as you deem fit. Tea Party are Constitutionalists, not collectivists.

What other group carries around signs that read "Protek our Constition" "Dont take our freedums", all the while has little regard or understanding of it. Many people cherry pick the constitution, few claim to be liberatarians.
Yes they aren't the only ones guilty, however. I call this national phenomena the "Selective attention deficit disorder". Cherry picking the constitution doesn't work for anyone. Worse yet, it has the opposite effect.
And you, being from Norway, understand the Constitution? Sure. You have no clue what our Constitution is about or what it means.

No context, no proof, just a slightly trollish sounding off handed assertion?
The only reason I'm even responding is to ask people who start a thread to have something constructive to say, to offer some context with which to work from. In other words, offer something beyond an OP's first post that is akin to passing gas in a crowded elevator.

Thank you! Agree completely. Getting sooo tired of threads with gratuitous use of 'Tea Party' in title, for the sole purpose of having yet another thread to simply bash them.
Seriously, for all you Tea Party haters...start one big, all inclusive thread...call it the 'Why I Hate the Tea Party' thread. Fill it with plenty-o-pix of misspelled signs, crazy ladies with tea bag hats. Talk about how they don't understand the consitition/constipation (gee, that's a knee slapper every time). Really, have at it.
Now, if you have anything substantial to discuss...well, that would be a refreshing change.
