OBAMA: We cut taxes for 95 percent of working Americans just like I promised we would on the campaign. […] So I’ve been a little amused over the last couple days where people have been having these rallies about taxes. You would think they would be saying, “Thank you!” That’s what you’d think!

Think Progress » Obama on Tea Partiers: “You would think they would be saying, ‘Thank you’” for my tax cuts.

Those TP'ers will believe anything those Fox Pundits will spew. Remember, the GOP does not exactly have their constituents interest at heart, never had and never will.

This is the Washington Times--so you understand Fox isn't the only one making those statements.

I believe that most of the Tea Party members believe that, with the Presidents current programs, that their taxes will go up, eventually.

Of course, they are ignoring the fact they got a tax cut this year.

I can see both sides of this coin. However, if something wasn't done about healthcare, the rate of inflation on that spending would have gone so incredibly high, people who have it now, wouldn't be able to pay for it in the next 10 years.

You've also got to remember, a recent poll of Tea Party members indicates that only 8% of them blame Bush for the current economy. Thats pretty partisan, most Republicans I know even still blame Bush for the mess. He came into office with a 150 billion dollar surplus, and by the time he left office, we were over a trillion in debt.

Obama's not perfect, but it takes time for economies to change, and recently, this one is getting better.
