Obama lied again. What a big surprise.

"Under the new law, insurance companies still would be able to refuse new coverage to children because of a pre-existing medical problem, said Karen Lightfoot, spokeswoman for the House Energy and Commerce Committee, one of the main congressional panels that wrote the bill President Barack Obama signed into law Tuesday."
The Associated Press: Gap in health care law's protection for children

They're scrambling to try to fix it.

"Full protection for children would not come until 2014, said Kate Cyrul, a spokeswoman for the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, another panel that authored the legislation. That's the same year when insurance companies could no longer deny coverage to any person on account of health problems.
Obama's public statements conveyed the impression that the new protections for kids were sweeping and straightforward."

Liar in Chief... at it again.

What the heck, older adults have more pre-existing conditions than children, so why would they even just consider children?

It's all double talk anyway, no one is going to get much.

Here's the thing... Read the article - both House and Senate committees KNEW about this, and let Obama continue to spew this LIE repeatedly anyway. Isn't that nice.

Well, they voted on the bill in the middle of the night, and all the talk about doing things in the open, etc. was all glossed over.

They don't care if you or I have healthcare. They don't care if you or I have jobs. If there were plenty of jobs, people would have problems getting healthcare and homes.

You and I know they are going to give illegals free healthcare and make us, the taxpayer who works, pay for them.

They said they are working patching it up. I'd also recommend looking up the definition of a "lie" for starters. You'd think you'd know the definition considering it's all you guys do.

In recent speeches, Obama has given the impression that the immediate benefit for kids is much more robust.

Full protection for children would not come until 2014, said Kate Cyrul, a spokeswoman for the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, another panel that authored the legislation. That's the same year when insurance companies could no longer deny coverage to any person on account of health problems.
How well will this play in Nov when people realize those "benefits" are still 4 years away?
