Not according to Democrats, who wanted to use House Bill 1504 to remove a law by a simple majority.. GOP as well did confirm that 2/3rds are needed with Initiative 960 and 601, but democrats refused to acknowledge the GOP.

Your dreaming if you dont think there is ONE line out of 2700 PAGES, which can be deemed unconstitutional.

ONLY ONE line is needed to strike out the whole bill..

My friend, it's not going to happen. But if it makes you feel better to think that it will then by all means indulge your imagination!

LOL! Really? Then why were Republicans insane in their opposition to this bill? Because they knew if it DIDN'T pass, Dems would lose big in November. Only time will tell, but I'm fairly confident in thinking that Dems will do better in November now that the bill has passed. Americans overwhelmingly wanted health care insurance reform. Republicans claim Dems were against this bill. Yes, many were against it because it didn't have a public option, like myself. But I understand the political reality of the thing and know this is a step in the right direction. Great job President Obama and Speaker Pelosi!

Yeah, I'm sure Republicans will win with a platform of revoking healthcare insurance for millions of Americans. NOT!

Agreed. A public option would have been preferable. But the crazy right-wing disinformation campaign made it practically impossible. The good news is that we now have a solid foundation to build off of. The public option is only a matter of time at this point.

Does it really matter anymore. What happened last night is that the democrats won and America lost its freedom. Congratulations Democrats! You just destroyed what was the greatest nation in the world. While you are patting yourselves on the back I will mourn for our people.

When I woke up this morning, the birds were still singing, the sun was out and life seemed normal, but Obama got the change he has been working on getting since he first started to run for president. That change was socialism and it is here. If you are a normal hard-working person that likes freedom, you will not like his change. The deadbeats will stand around and enjoy the fruits of our labor while they tell up what to do.
