It doesn't matter whether or not they like it. They will vote FOR it on Sunday.
The WH deems it so.

There is going to be SOOOOO much pressure to repeal this thing if it does in fact go through...

Will that many Congressional Dems really fall on their swords for Obama?

Carter's and Clinton's pollsters knew EXACTLY what they were talking about in WaPo:
"Bluntly put, this is the political reality:
...If it fails, as appears possible, Democrats will face the brunt of the electorate's reaction. If it passes, however, Democrats will face a far greater calamitous reaction at the polls. Wishing, praying or pretending will not change these outcomes."

They did for TARP. Remember the House rejected it the first time and then had a "visit" from Paulsen and Bernake and then passed it the second time.

It will pass. They won't fall on their swords. Amnesty aka "the path to citizenship" is being drafted up and Obama announced on Thursday that he approves of it. That's 30 million new voters thankful to the Democrats. Now..do you still think they are worried ?
