in 4 short days ( weds-june 5th ) paris hilton has been ordered by the judge to report to county jail in LA for her 45 day sentence for dui & probation violation.the local news stations ( LA,ca ) have not mentioned a word about it.with good behavor she will be released in 30 days.( good bahavor credit is 10 days per 30 days ).she may be released earlier due to jail over crowding.i sure hope the spoiled 26 yr old rich brat learns her lesson but i honestly doubt it.
She deserves it. I hope she realizes just how spoiled and obnoxious she is while she enjoys her stay in county. Maybe that will open her eyes a bit. Now, if we could just get her black-haired guy friend (the one who called Lohan a "firecrotch") a little time in jail, my smile would be a little bigger. LOL j/k
You call that punishment? Nope. She'll come out and get paid for interview after interview of telling about her experience in the joint. Then she'll get a book deal, movie deal... she'll gain a lot of money from this ordeal. That's not punishment in my book.
Didn't they already knock her sentence down to 23 days? Or did I wake up in the middle of a news break again and get two names mixed up? I hate when I do that.
One time, I went to sleep in my chair during a John Wayne movie and woke up during a second one. Took me an hour to figure out what had happened.
Probably will get a movie deal, I read she makes about seven million a year now. That will give her a nice pay raise. I heard on the radio this morning that they already have her cell mate picked out.
Actually, I think it's dumb they are sending her to jail. She should have been hit with a boatload of community service and lost her license for a couple of years.
We have over 3 million people in the criminal justice system. More than any other nation on the planet including Red China. There's no reason for that.

No, she's still sentenced to 45 days. They knock one day off an inmates sentence for every good time day they earn. So if she follows all the rules, she'll only have 23 days to serve. But she is going to be locked down for 23 hours a day so it will be difficult for her to get into trouble.

Holy crap we agree again. I knew this day would come, lol.
She should have received 2000 hours of community service, coupled with a stay in a half-way house. No Simple-Life photo-ops, but real work. That's worse than jail time for the queen of the no-tell motel chain.
