Today's Department of Labor jobs report showed that our economy shed 20,000 jobs last month -- down 97 percent from the 779,000 January job losses a year ago. There is still much work ahead, but today's numbers make clear that President Obama's economic policies have brought us back from the brink of disaster and are putting America on the road to economic recovery.

Note how unemployment was going down under Republican Congress and the minute Democrats took over Congress unemployment started going up. Must be a coincidence..

Are you seriously considering that to be valid data? How many people are underemployed and how many unemployed people have dropped off the stats because they are no longer eligible for benefits?

Obama is doing a great job. He turned everything around in that one year, after 8 years of Bush and the Republicans wrecking everything.

Ohhhh, sure! Obama is really turning things around.

Look. They are playing games with numbers. They are ignoring people who are no longer looking for work.

Some are estimating that unemployment is near 20%. It is clearly above 10%. There is no recovery, and no sign that it is on the horizon. Obama is doing everything to prolong the depression (yeah...depression).

He keeps threatening ever higher taxes, and ever more spending. Businesses are going to do nothing but to try to survive under those circumstances. Nobody is going to hire, or even consider expanding. Everyone is downsizing. And this is Obamas doing — not Bush's!

But the title of the thread is a chart from when Bush was president, not when the recovery act went into effect.

So you are saying they lie on the image?

And the chart also ignores 1,000,000 individuals who gave up looking for work.. I guess when you dont mind lying, you can manipulate numbers to say what you wish..

Facts? Liberal don't let facts get in the way. They are just pesky little annoyances.
