The stimulus has not and will not work.

WASTED money on pet project and buying of support for his failed policies.

No jobs created, 8 million jobs lost. Record bankruptcies, foreclosures, car repos, job losses and the list goes on and on.

No brainer.

And he wants another stimulus to get the first failure to work.

No one will be right and no one will be wrong. It cannot be proven that we would have done worse without the stimulus.

You'd have to go back in time and have a "do over" without the stimulus and then compare results.

Obama has a win/win with this one. He either "created" jobs or he "saved" jobs and can say that the economy would have been in worse shape if the stimulus had not been passed.

If I can get my mitts on a sizable chunk of that stimulus cash that will stimulate me to spread the word far and wide that it was a RESOUNDING success.

That's a promise.

Not enough jobs were saved and all those claimed as created seem to have been created on paper alone or from things like raises by people who already had jobs.

So far the stimulus has only worked for states to complete highway projects and like that. i don't know about everywhere but out here in Kansas too many of the "saved" jobs on highways were jobs held by illegal immigrants.

I figure alot of liberal groups really made out with the stimulus money and the american taxpayer got screwed. after all, all that money went to places such as the 15 congressional district in AZ and the 99th in american samoa.

If the "Big Question" is: Does the jobs bill push mean the stimulus failed?, I don't think we know the answer yet. According to Recovery.gov, out of the $787 billion appropriated for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, approximately $220 billion has been spent. I don't think, less than halfway through the stimulus, anyone can say that the stimulus either succeeded or failed.

Nope, we believe in loser welfare bums to start finally paying back the successful tax paying people the money they have stolen from us for all those years.

You cannot trickle down anything because most people on the low end wont work and will waste the money if they did finally get a job.

Oh goodness, its not even close. The stimulus has failed...miserably.

They can't even verify and certify the bogus jobs claims numbers.

They are NOW talking about a second "stealth" stimulus. Why would they be talking about that if the first had been a success. Even members of their own party are alarmed at the promises made and the reality.

The readjustment in the GDP is evidence the only thing that has grown was the government. No private sector investment, no consumer spending.
