Terrible behavior.

They may be tea baggers but they are NOT patriots....they are anti-American terrorists.

Yes, the Repugs are so anti-abortion...

BUT ridicule a grandmother whose granchild died in the womb.

I guess for Republicans that's a good laugh!

But OH don't want women to get an abortion of their own free will.

What putrid awful people!

Heavily edited video with scornful and insulting remarks subtitled into it make a point.

What I got out of it is the pregnant woman was seen at a hospital, diagnosed with bronchitis and then sent home. (No info as to what treatment, meds or advice was given.) Then the next day she was worse. (Yes, pneumonia really can develop that fast.) Her brother took her to another hospital where the gal was admitted with pneumonia and 55 days later she died. The hospital bill was over a million dollars. The mother said the brother lied to the second hospital about insurance, implying this was the only reason the hospital admitted her (or maybe that she was denied admission to hospital #1 because of no insurance--an assumption that cannot be made based on what is known).

Too many details unknown about this whole scenario and it is impossible to know all that was in play, other than Dan Lipski was facing an audience of angry constituents and trotted out this woman to tell her story and the audience wasn't in any mood to hear it. The audience was there to express their feelings to their representative and I think that for Dan Lipski to put this grieving mother and grandmother before an audience of angry constituents was just plain wrong.

Agreed. The congressman is a flipping coward.

Not surprising. The tea baggers refuse to listen to reason and are anti anything Obama. Whether or not this Video is edited, there are other videos, they are pictures of their signs and you can hear them chant.

Don't blame the congressman, did you ever think that the mother here wanted to take a stand against the insurance companies? She is not the only one that has a story to tell. There are many stories just like hers and the tea bagger's refusal to listen only shows how hateful they truly are. It is more important to shoud socialist and blame Obama for everything wrong than it is to save a life or stop this out of control behavior of health insurance companies. They call them self Christians but have no compassion. There is no excuse for this behavior.

It's because these people are nothing but a mindless mob, worked up into a frenzy by the Becks and the Limbaughs and the other right wing demagogues.

I should be surprised that there are people on this forum blaming the victims and not the mouth breathing cretins who perpetrated this outrage.

Hateful is an excellent description of them. But then, that's an excellent description of most of those on the right. They are hateful of anything which doesn't conform to their narrow, reactionary view of the world - and it doesn't matter who or what it is.

What a shame. That is a ruthless disguting group of people. After losing her daughter, she is now being attacked by tea baggers.
