You should try reading the link and then attack the message instead of proving your leftness by attacking the messenger. You proved zilch to any thinkers but you did have a good time, I think.
Do you think that the word Secretary appearing written like that wasn't referring to the Secretary of HHS and the rules she gets to insert to give the bill more meaning? How about Internal Service? Would there be a reason for that term to show up if they weren't collecting a tax?

Please read my other post (#8) really s-l-o-w and maybe you's see that I didn't attack the messenger. I made a comment about his post content being meaningless. I stand by my statement that words taken out of context and out of order are meaningless which is why I'm not going to engage in a debate with you on the meaning of random words in the health care bill. Why don't you Google the thing and see for yourself why/where those words appear instead of conjecturing on a message board?

Why would Constitution appear in a bill like this one with 3607 shalls or shall nots? I am sure that the word Secretary written like that is referring to the Secretary of HHS and that she will have a ball making all those shalls mean what the Dems want. How about Require showing up 1025 times?
Since you are so intent on things that mean nothing why don't you tell me why in a healthcare bill the term Internal Revenue showed up 104 times? Of course, you may not even know what the only government bureau called Internal Revenue does, but in case you don't let me tell you that a tax is involved when those words show up together like that. What in hell is the reason for Internal Revenue in a health bill unless they are collecting a tax?

Did you read the link so you could attack the message or did you just scan enough to get something to attack the messenger about. Maybe you should be the first one to attack the message and prove some part of it wrong.

You seem to have difficulty with words anyway. I'm not a lefty. Far from it. But this misrepresentation of yours fits right in with the point I made.

Words do have meaning, roy. I fully understand what you mean when using lefty, socialist or unconstitutional, though it would be a lot more credible to imply negative connotations with words that actually made sense. But that's just fine with me. I don't lose any sleep over political butchering of the language. Carry on. John Boehner would be proud, but Bill Buckley is turning in his grave.

Is there any statistical significance to the words your linked article references compared to bills recently passed?
The list of words in that article are random and likely to be absent (or present) in any other bill regarding any other legislature.
If you want to prove your point you should go through the legislation and perform a statistically relevant linguistic analysis. Really it isn't that difficult to do. There are more then enough tools on the web that allow you to crawl though keywords on a large number of pages and would provide actual evidence.
So the burden of proof (which is pretty simple for anyone with a high school education) is in your hands. Please put my foot in my mouth.
