Our ancestors were stubborn, and determined. Why cave in now, just because things seem hopeless at times ? A new sunrise can turn things around dramatically. We have to stop buying into this gloom consciousness. It's expensive. It's an energy robber.

The problem is that individual success in our society is not judged by "what" people do, but by "how much" wealth, power, and prestige they accrue. Most people are not particularly interested in what the company you work for does, they are interested if you are president of the company; they don't ask "how" you got wealthy, but are mightily impressed if you are.

One of the interesting facts about wealth, power, and prestige is that all are unspecifiable with regard to actual amount. How much personal wealth is enough? $250,000? $1 million? $5 million? How much prestige? Vice-president of the company? President? Or president of an even more powerful company?

We have built into our social system the notion that "you have to try and get as much as you can" because the more you get the more successful you are. Eventually our system is going to collapse upon itself, if it has not begun to already.

If the Republicans would of done a better job in they would still be there. Why didn't the Republican congress try to reform health care?

Yes....great idea....reform health care with a price tag that will bankrupt this country. You've heard it all before but let me repeat it....you want us to turn over the HEALTH CARE SYSTEM to the "Government" (Republicans and Democrats alike) that have FAILED us at EVERY turn...try this on for size:

1) Social Security - On the verge of bankruptcy.
2) Medicare - On the verge of bankruptcy and on fraught with millions of dollars of fraud.
3) Medicaid - On the verge of bankruptcy.
4) United States Post Office - Extremely Successful, well run operation (SARCASM).
5) HUD/Public Housing - Fraught with drug infested gangs holding good, hard working citizens hostage....run down.....pathetic.....

Yes, this is the government I want to turn health care over to!!! Let's burden our children and grandchildren for decades to come with this debacle.....many British politicians have warned us.....once you allow this 1000 pound gorilla in.....you will never be able to get rid of it......
