The anger is from being out of power. The strategy is based on power, as well. The Repulicans don't give a rat's ass about this bill or any other proposal. Their aim is to see Obama fail. That's it.
Of course Republicans want to see Obama fail. If he succeeds, America loses. What part of that are you having difficulty with?
All I see in this article is politics as usual and tactics Republicans use when they are in power. The only difference is conservatives and the Republicans don't like this legislation. I don't know if the anger is so much from the legislation itself or if it's because Republicans are finally realizing they have to lie in the bed they made.
You forgot to throw the race card.
If you're going to impute nefarious motives to conservatives, you have to throw the race card too.

Yep, just like the majority of Americans who have stated over and over in poll after poll that they simply do not want this bill. We all know the real motive of the American people is to see Obama fail and possibly save the country from economic collapse while keeping the non-government run health insurance that most Americans don't want to change. So petty and selfish on the part of the voters. They should concern themselves less with what is best for America and focus on what is best for our government.

Apparently only conservatives are allowed to play the race card on this forum, going around calling everyone racist for objecting to thinly veiled racial slurs used against Obama.
What would American politics be without conspiracy theorists?
It's amazing what level of gullibility is so overwhelmingly demonstrated by people who suck up all this conservative rhetoric without a single link to any reference. It is asserted, therefore it is true.

What conspiracy theory? The OP was just pointing out that this bill is politics as usual. What do you disagree with?
The AARP advantage? There will be higher costs to Medicare Advantage-that's a given. AARP stands to benefit from it increased sales of Medigap policies. Why do you think the WH issued a gag order on Humana for telling it's customers that Medicare Avantage would be adversely affected? A gag order they later had to lift as it turns out that Humana was just giving the facts as confirmed by the CBO.
The BigPharm deal? Again, no conspiracy, just fact. Obama cut a deal with them in exchange for their support. Won't do a darn thing to drug costs for you or I, but he got their endorsment. And they got guaranteed profits.
The medical devices tax? It's in there. Wheelchairs, pacemakers, etc.
The AMA endorsement? Seems an awful lot of members were pretty unhappy about that. Never went to formal vote with the organization.
Again, no conspiracy theories. Just acknowledgment that this bill, like every other, is politics as usual.
There is NOT a single link of reference to ANY assertion made by the original poster. Nor is there with any one with your assertions.
Can you quote ANY paragraph of the bill stating that wheelchairs (for example) are or will be taxed? I am not going to hold my breath.
