He had an undergrad major in biochemistry. MD's without a specialty in the military have the rank of captain. When he qualified as a psychiatrist (a medical specialty) he was automatically promoted to the rank of major.

I liked what his moslem mosque clergyman said about him. He was looking for a proper moslem wife, one who prayed 5 times a day and wore the traditional head covering. But they were unable to find him one. I guess moslem women know a loser when they see one, a control freak full of anger and frustrated insecurites and paranoid delusional warped ideals.
It would have been justice had he gone to Afghanistan and died at the hands of somebody just like himself.

Did not believe in fighting against Muslims as he was one.
There were too many tell, tell signs to stop this terrorist!

All the online monday morning quarterbacking on this is not going to change the fact that he was a mentally disturbed man.
Ever notice how all of the psych. professionals (or at the very least the psych. majors in undergrad) are actually usually more neurotic than the rest of us?!?

The fight is supposed to be against terrorism, not Muslims.

This man had personal, mental, and emotional issues, period. He was an unstable human being living his own private hell. He should've been confined and evaluated when the signs first presented themselves.

It sure helps , they have the biggest incentive because of their beliefs .

In my opinion, Islam has several factions and they all operate under one single umbrella.

You have the super-radicals - who may be highly educated or not. But are willing to be the soldiers for the cause and inflict damage against non-muslims as well as sacrifice their own lives in the process.

You have the so-called innocent followers - most likely the quiet ones (and the silent majority of muslim followers) who sit by and watch the goings on of the radicals and only speak out against the radicals actions when forced to. They are all secretly waiting and poised to reap the benefits of what the super-radicals trailblaze in the world.

You have the super-funders - these are the financiers in Dubai, and Saudi who bankroll all terrorist operations and also assume the role of the "so-called innocent followers". These people have an agreement between the "super-radicals" not to bomb Dubai or their financial centers.

Ever wonder why the decadent city of Dubai has never been bombed by Muslim radicals?

Follow the money trail.
