Thanks, that's what I was asking because most of the videos are blocked at work so i was unable to see it. I appreciate your answer instead of some knee jerk reaction.

Please realize that the President was already giving another speech at the time he gave comments about the Ft. Hood shootings. He cut short the previously scheduled speech.

He walked up to the podium and said nothing about Fort Hood for approx. 1 to 1 1/2 minutes...Fort Hood should have been the first thing out of his mouth....He could have finished his speech after that!
