"What I’m saying to the people of Connecticut, I can do more for you and your families to get something done to make health care affordable, to get universal health insurance," Lieberman said during a July, 2006, debate.

Political watchdogs and supporters of the public health care option are accusing Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman of hypocrisy for announcing he plans to filibuster the Senate health care reform bill after years of voicing support for health care reform

Lieberman is only what will get him elected as his history shows. I vote a representative's voting record on the issues, not party affiliation.

Strip the Likkud Party Senator of his Committee Memberships and throw his desk out on the hallway

He meant universal medical care for Israel

After his support of McCain and insulting of Obama, the party should have stripped this traitor of his chairmanship and kicked him to the curb. Goodness knows many good Democrats were lobbying for just that kind of action...

Lieberman is a liar and a fraud and on the take. Mrs. Lieberman is a lobbyist so give me a break!

Lieberman's wife Haddassah worked for a health care/pharmaceutical lobbyist

And not for the kind of folks who represent the good guys. But I'm sure this has nothing to do with why Lieberman is trying to undercut the President and Senator Reid by threatening to join a Republican filibuster of health care reform.

Lieberman should be declared a WMD. Not only is he a traitor to his party, he can bore you to death.
