I see. The party that just got done screaming "Obama wants to kill Grandma!" is getting all huffy.
They are an embarrassment to civilization.
Ah yes, but the Republican were talking about something that was in that "bill" at the time and the Dems supposedly took it out the next day. I haven't heard and Republicans supporting that die quickly bit but this man tried very hard to make it sound that way.
Nice try, Ida, but you failed on this one because of the facts involving the Republican gripe about what the bill said.
What despicable hypocrites. They spend months telling people lies about "death panels" that never existed (and never would), claiming Democrats what to "kill grandma". Now they have the unmitigated gall to go up in arms when the tables are turned? Outrageous.

I see you didn't read the post above yours that explains the difference.

Nice try yourself.
House Report 108-391 - MEDICARE PRESCRIPTION DRUG, IMPROVEMENT, AND MODERNIZATION ACT OF 2003
Yes, that's right. Remember the 2003 Medicare prescription drug bill, the one that passed with the votes of 204 GOP House members and 42 GOP Senators? Anyone want to guess what it provided funding for? Did you say counseling for end-of-life issues and care? Ding ding ding!!
So either Republicans were for death panels in 2003 before turning against them now--or they're lying about end-of-life counseling in order to frighten the bejeezus out of their fellow citizens and defeat health reform by any means necessary. Which is it, Mr. Grassley?
REPUBLICANS LOVED THEIR DEATH PANELS....
You would think that if Republicans wanted to totally mischaracterize a health care provision and demagogue it like nobody's business, they would at least pick something that the vast majority of them hadn't already voted for just a few years earlier. Because that's not just shameless, it's stupid.
I see you didn't read the post above yours that explains the difference.
That fails to explain the difference.
Wilson was reprimanded for not observing proper decorum in the legislature.
A completely different situation.
This situation is much more akin to Mrs Palin's reference to death panels. Mrs Palin wasn't formally reprimanded by anyone, and neither should this Democratic lawmaker be.
What despicable hypocrites. They spend months telling people lies about "death panels" that never existed (and never would), claiming Democrats what to "kill grandma". Now they have the unmitigated gall to go up in arms when the tables are turned? Outrageous.
Exactly. Hypocritical as hell
