That's not the stupidest thing on C-D today, but it's pretty close.

Consider the source..........

Ooooh I just cant stop laughing over hypocrites on CD....

Look, idahogie is back to try to spin it some more by lying again.

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE STIMULUS...

Look. Here's an equivalent argument to the one you are making:

Quote:
Idahogie supports this but he didn't support giving Halliburton contracts in Iraq! He's a hypocrite! Halliburton is an American company! Why doesn't he support giving them money, but he supports giving Tesla money to make cars in Finland! Hypocrite!!!!
As if someone who supports investment in electric vehicle technology but doesn't support occupying Iraq is a hypocrite. You are completely ignoring the purpose of the money.

Investment in our technological future is a good thing in my book. The way that the criminals on Wall Street were bailed out was a bad thing.

Only a complete and utter moron would find that a hypocritical position.

So keep on showing us exactly what you are.

Dont try to dispute what I said, by posting what a 3rd party said. It does nothing to backup your justification for being a hypocrit.

And only a complete and utter kool aid drinker wouldnt understand that investing in american jobs, real jobs, that existed, and continue to exist, is 100 times better than investing in jobs that are not american and may or may not result in long term jobs. You act like we are investing in "our" technological future, we arent, did you miss the part about jobs going over seas?

The whole time you completely missed the point that NOTHING gives the government the authority to take our money and invest it ANYWHERE.. PERIOD. Yes, you indeed are a hypocrit when you oppose saving real life american jobs, while supporting the creation of jobs overseas while we pay for it. You would be better off not responding and trying to sping this further because with every posting, you keep digging yourself in the hole.

Again, this has NOTHING to do with "stimulus".. Pretending it does is just plain ignorance.

According to PDQ, if you support the invasion of Afghanistan, but oppose the death penalty, you're a hypocrite! You don't get to talk about the reasons behind either policy. If you don't support killing in one policy, you can't support killing in the other! It's that simple!

Before you start accusing people of being hypocrites, you'd better have a basis. Otherwise, you just look stupid.
