As long as the school system is being paid for teaching them (where I live the school district is paid through attendance), then there should be no problem teaching children who want to learn. What we get back in a better-educated population and goodwill make the effort worthwhile.

Instead, these kids will have no future and will be limited to lives marked by poverty. I guess they have futures as drug cartel members or as coyotes. But I guess that's OK because these kids were born on the wrong side of a bureaucratic line.

It's alarming to know that there are people in our country who think like you. I couldn't imagine what things would be like if there were more of you. Fortunately this is an extreme left wing moonbat mindset that we owe everyone on the planet a favor. Please expalin why you feel that we have an obligation to educate foreign children at our expense.

I live in Arizona and our education system is mocked for being poor. This is largely due to the large immigrant population that persists in our weaker public schools. The children don't speak English so the teachers can't offer an advanced curriculum. These immigrants also bring down test scores so it reflects poorly on our state.

What this will do is deter more families from moving here knowing their kids won't receive a free education like they did in the past. The same should be applied to health services
That is just so wrong.

I'm glad the school in the OP is finally standing up & doing something. Americans are sick & tired of paying for illegals, plain & simple.

I don't understand why people think our country should be trying to save the world. When we are strong and healthy it's NICE to offer help and support, but we are neither. We have rules here, taxes are paid, services are rendered, residence requirements exist to keep it running smoothly. When we decide to toss regulations things fall apart and then not only can't we help anyone, we can't help ourselves. I fully support public schools being for the American public, and people here legally for whatever reason, otherwise what's the point in any of it?

if we had open borders, work visas, visitors permits, and passports wouldn't be issued.

to those of you suggesting that it is ok to have illegals in our classrooms, its breaking the law, are you ok with breaking the law?
