In a nationwide survey regarding reliable sources of information about conditions on Iraq General David Petraeus was considered the most reliable at 80%. General Pace and Robert Gates were next at 67%, and Condolezza Rice was next coming in at 66%. Interestingly Sen. Hillary Clinton was only deemed reliable by 58%, along w/Nancy Pelosi. Barack Obama and John Edwards were next at 57%.

Interesting that Condi is trusted more than Hillary eventhough she is part of the administration? Thoughts?

I know this needs to go into P&C -- I found it interesting that you didn't mention GWB & Dick Cheney being on the bottom of the list with 51% and 47% respectively.

Interesting? I was actually interesed in discussing something new. GWB and Cheney have been discussed ad nauseum on this forum and their low ratings are nothing new. Wasn't trying to "hide anything." But if you want to start another thread regarding this feel free.

Burdell, are you implying Americans are not "logical" because they trust Condi over Hillary?

Not about Hillary but from what I've seen from Condi she seems to go along with what ever claims the administration is making. I think she's had a golden opportunity to offer new ideas to a president who surely needs some, particularly in foreign policy, and she has not taken advantage of it.

EDIT: And just in general I never did see the logic in things like spending $Billions$ combatting drug abuse and putting a well lnown drug abuser on a postage stamp or being taught in grammar school that in case of nuclear attack we should get under our desks
