Don't you worry. When he gets his civilian army together, he'll be "popular" too.

Oh.....you're one of those.

Do you also have a separate hut or tent outside for your wife when she menstruates, too?

Good flippin grief.

I guess your bottom line is that you're paranoid about everything and everybody...outside of your little 'clan'.

NL brings up a point. Clinton used more military assets against United States civilians than he used against enemies.

Waco vs Somalia

Waco violated Posse Comitatus on many fronts, but including heavy armor/tanks in the seige was over kill. With Somalia, we had no tanks/heavy armor; Clinton actually vetoed the inclusion of heavy mech for the mission.

Ruby Ridge vs All Other Clinton's Military Engagements

The FBI had a green light to shoot to kill. They killed his innocent son, infant daught, and dog. Clinton went into every over-seas military engagement with kiddy gloves on but removed them domestically.

Shot, he sent in paramilitary to repatriate a Cuban child in violation of the wet foot, dry foot law. We blew up an asprin factory after the embassy and cole bombings... Just saying man has a point.

You are absolutely right. I remember when it was first introduced in 1983 by Republicans trying to ensure Reagan could serve more than two terms, before he even finished his first term. A similar bill has been introduced into the House each and every Session of Congress since then, by both parties.

In each and every case the bill was buried in committee and never reached the floor for a vote.

In addition to this bill, there are at least 50 more proposed amendments to the US Constitution currently pending in Congress. Good thing the OP doesn't know about them. Judging by his reaction to this one bill, he would definitely have a massive stroke or coronary if he knew about all the others.

Waco did not violate the Posse Comitatus, in the sense that you mean. Congress amended the Posse Comitatus Act in 1981 to allow for the use of the military to enforce federal drug laws. At Waco the BATF provided the military with a warrant that indicated that a methamphetamine lab was located on the Mount Carmel compound. (David Koresh had called the Sheriff when he first occupied Mount Carmel, and turned the lab over to the law 5 years before the BATF 1993 raid).

Granted, it was an illegal warrant since the BATF already knew before the warrant was issued that there were no drugs on the compound. However, the military was not privilege to that information, therefore acted according to the amended Posse Comitatus Act by providing the FBI with military equipment for use in drug law enforcement. There was no one from the military driving those military vehicles, that was the FBI. Therefore, there was no violation of the Posse Comitatus Act from the military's point of view.

Nothing to fact check. All I had to do was click on the link provided in the OP. Clearly states "no cosponsors"
