I signed up for a weekly Newspaper and Sunday also. I have not received anything in a week, so I called the Post and they told me that the carrier had delivered the papers, but they were stolen. I am thinking that maybe this cannot be true, as most of the people in my building do not speak English, nor read it. How and why would they still the papers?? They are only in English. I do not want to blame anyone yet, but this is strange. Any ideas??
The silly thing that happened to you has nothing to do with illegal immigration.
Sorry about your newspaper but your world problems dint revolve around illegal immigrants. I've had the same thing happen to me when I was in college and I did not live around Spanish speaking people. I trully believe that is your problem...Hispanics or Latinos.

It's an old trick..gangs of Hispanics roam neighborhoods, stealing English-language newspapers. They then sit on park benches, making sure they're seen by the passing public, and APPEARING to read the English-language text...this, they feel, gives them the appearance of being "legal". A good 'give-away' is the fact that sometimes, they read the paper upside-down.
Next time you see a Hispanic reading an English-language paper, watch his lips as he silently reads to himself. If he appears to be 'rolling his R's ', the chances are good that he's not really comprehending English....just 'playing the game'. A guy like that COULD be worth 'checking out'.
Of course, SOME people steal newspapers because they keep pet parakeets..but that's not related to illegal immigration....
Law enforcement usually catches up with these folks quite easily. They leave a 'paper trail'.....(What's REALLY sad is when a crime 'makes the headlines'....and then the very next day, the HEADLINES..along with the want-ads and the sports section...get stolen..)....

How would the Post know if the carrier had delivered the papers or not, and what do you mean they told you they were stolen?
I dont believe this story.

and why are you posting this here? How can people here "help" you?
Actually, I don't believe you. The newspaper office isn't going to tell you that your papers were stolen.
But I do have an idea for you. Stop making up bs to troll the internet with.
