We will when we move from here.

Well we actually won't make enough money to pay it,but basically the same thing.

If you enjoy the system I suggest you keep paying.

Yeah its never really bothered me. Could be cuz I'm just a food server making ~50k a year so anything the government does affects my life in a marginal way. Where you moving to?

Livin off the fat of the land, you got the right idea. I'm a supporter of Obama and all, but I still think finding a place where no government could reach me would be the best option possible. Australia is good for that, so many small villages and such. If this recession doesn't clear up in the not too distant future, hey its a thought for all of us!

Also planning to live off of the government teat...

Why fight it when you can benefit from it and do your little part to bring it crashing down.

Whatever works for you. To be honest I could never hear a word about politics again and my life would be the exact same. I think some people invest way too much into their political party.

That isn't politics,it is about ideology.

Too many people support the idea that the 'less fortunate' deserve to be given money(in whatever form) but are loathe to ever do it themselves....

Which would seem to point towards they think it is wrong somehow.

If accepting welfare is perfectly okay, then there should be no guilt in doing so.

I don't know, I've never been on welfare. Seems like if you can lead a happy life on the peanuts they give you for free, only ego or ambition is stopping you. Keep us updated on your welfare experiment.
