Over the past couple of months Obama's negative ratings have been somewhat increasing, hanging around the 45-46% mark.

As more folks become aware of the consequences of his policies and programs, this may go up another couple of percentage points, providing the Republicans an opportunity to gain some ground in 2010.

Another day, another Rasmussen poll that tries to make Obama look bad.

Nothing new here, folks. Move along.

One of these things is not like the others,
One of these things just doesn't belong,
Can you tell which thing is not like the others
By the time I finish my song?

Did you guess which thing was not like the others?
Did you guess which thing just doesn't belong?
If you guessed this one is not like the others,
Then you're absolutely...right!

OK I didn't want to do this again but the pollster who by the only objective measurment (last 2 presidential polls) is the most accurate? That's right Rasmussen. The lowest accuracy in objective measurements. Those listed above.

That doesn't prove that their opinion polls are accurate at all.

(By the way, I have talked with my friend, but not about this yet.)

Nor does the fact that they are outliers make them inaccurate.

Of course his approval ratings are declining, I expect it with all elected officials, no one, Dem/Rep/Green/Lib/Commie/Nazi, not a single politician, can ever live up to what they promise while campaigning, and with a large percentage of Americans being single issue voters, the numbers have got to go down immediately following the election. Can't please everyone.

I'm no worshiper of the messiah, but really, is there a point to this thread other than to incite angry responses from libs?

That 46% is impossible, right? Who do these people think they are calling all over the nation and not doing all their polling in cities where more union people live?

They have proven more accurate in the two preceding Presidencies and it seems to me that they are doing it again.

Anyway, the number you want to saddle them with is the total numbers of those who don't support. They base their number on those who strongly support and those who strongly don't support and you quote their total don't support number. If a poll doesn't show what you want it to then hit at it for being so bad. We are all that way and that doesn't make either of us less honest, I don't think.

Hey, I have waited and waited for this one to get back to minus 2 because it had to. The more Obama supports things like Crap and Tax the bigger that number will become. He gets blamed for wanting laws like that one to sign.

Do you think with more than a week to read this pile the Senate will jump in with a 60 to 40 vote? I don't but I am not always right, either.

Quote:
The demographics of his decline portend more bad news for Obama and his Democratic allies in Congress. Only the youngest voters support him on fiscal policy, and only barely, 52%-46%. Every other age demographic above 30 years of age has majorities now showing disapproval. Independents have begun to run away in massive numbers; they now oppose him 75%-23%, a huge break away from Obama and a sign that his supposed moderate stances have been exposed as shams. Every income level except the lowest also has majorities disapproving of his handling of the economy. Voters outside the “political class” oppose Obama 65%-33%.
Buyers remorse, big time. The independents and moderate/conservatives that gave him a chance and put him in office are not too happy right now.

Quote:
Obama doesn’t fare well on national security, either. Rasmussen reports that Obama only has 44% approval on these issues, and 55% opposing him. Majorities of both women and men view him disfavorably. Every income level has majorities opposed to Obama, and independents disapprove 68%-31%. Obama only wins within the $60K-$75K income level; even his base of support among the lowest income earners narrowly reject Obama’s national-security policies, 52%-47%.

Obama isn’t just coming back to Earth in the polling. He’s losing independents and demonstrating his radical bent on policy, and more and more Americans have begun to see it.
He has the Iran/Honduras issue A**backwards.

He is a complete disaster for this country.
