It isn't the GOP that is advocating for abortion rights.

They are perhaps at the upper most levels. In fact there is little difference between the parties when it comes to the more "elite" members of the Reps and Dems. Google Maafa 21 and check out this newly release documentary.

Is that any worse than killing babies because you dont want to deal with the consequences of your irresponsible decisions?

Richard Nixon? Are you serious? I believe the man is long dead. You are going to make an issue out of what he said decades ago?

Fine. Lets roll out Robert Byrd's Ku Klux Klan records.

Why stop there? Strom Thurmond was a Democrat. Can we introduce the ugly facts that Franklin Roosevelt, Earl Warren and other Democrats herded Japanese-Americans into concentration camps.

Exactly!
This was over thirty years ago. I'm guessing that was recorded by Nixon before Dookie ever arrived on the scene.....If Dookie had been born thirty years earlier, there are pretty good chances that he would have had the same sentiments........Historical context is everything where this subject is concerned.

Modern day democrats and liberals say abortion is necessary when they discover that their baby will be born handicapped, in some way. So the point of you thread is what exactly?

The tapes are important for historical purposes; people found it interesting to hear Nixon slam Jews while speaking with Kissinger. What any president says is important particularly when the material has been kept from scholars and the American people for decades. Every bit enables a more complete picture of both the president and the administration that it created. Byrd left the KKK and publicly apologized and has since backed many measures that have profited Americans equally. Thurmond left the
Democratic Party over civil rights; the book written by his bi-racial daughter was fascinating. And Americans are well aware that mistakes were made after America entered WW II, in a time of fear much like the one that gripped us after 9/11, enabling extremely questionable intrusions into the private lives of American citizens. Newly-released info on any of those subjects would generate interest as well. With Nixon, it's always
amazing to see for ourselves exactly how corrupt, paranoid and bigoted that he truly was. It's all grist for the history mill.

I see that racist threads and posts are kept when they help the agenda of anti-White racists!

Anyway, Nixon was probably referring to interracial rape, a good reason to keep abortion legal.

Every year in America there are 37,000 black-on-white rapes, which if you add in the unreported ones brings the total to about 100-200 black-on-white rapes per day in this country. God forbid, that we should overturn Roe v Wade and force some of these women to have those bastards.

Even in so-called "committed" or consensual interracial relationships, the black male will statistically RARELY MARRY. Again, in those circumstances should society force its views on those women and force them to have an unwanted child, that will statistically be unwanted by the father?? Hell no.

Strom Thurmond was a racist SOB who went whichever way the wind blew, as long as it was white supremacist hot air that was blowing.

When the Democrats were racist, he was a democrat, except for his stint as a Dixiecrat, a party whose platform was nothing but segregation.

When the Democrats passed Civil Rights Legislation and outlawed segregation, Thurmond became a republican.

He spent his entire life moving from one affair to another, and had at least one child by a black woman.
