<<Looking out the window to see the flying pigs>> KevK and I agree on something? Damn!

Anyway, I agree. Don't want to be in danger of being shot by the guy whose stuff you are stealing, don't steal a guys stuff. Nice & simple.

In all my posts, I've not mentioned once the ethics of the thieves.

I've be talking about the executioners.

So using force to defend his life and his posessions makes him an executioner? If that's the semantics game you want to play, go ahead. But I see nothing wrong with his ethics at all.

Since there is a small chance that more facts may come out of the Farmer Jones incident, let's take a break and speculate on what some might refer to as the devil of the details.

1. Why did Farmer Jones leave his keys in his beloved SUV overnight?

2. How did the thieves know the keys were in the SUV?

3. Where was Old Blu? (All southerners own bloodhounds)

Well, he probably wouldn't of reacted in such a recreational kind of way.

Probably would have been very seriously pissed off. Might have called a social worker to the scene.

it probably would get upset him that someone was so unfortunately in life that they would steal his prius and he would wonder how the government could help the person.

Yup, and fleeing in HIS automobile. 200 years ago, he would have been hanged for stealing the man's horse.

Believe me, I hate any type of violence and am often called a Liberal. However, we have the right to protect our homes, our children and our personal property.

I would have phoned the Sheriff - unless the SUV was loaded with MY marijuana.
This was NOT an 'execution, nor do I believe for a second the farmer was 'dreaming' about killing anyone. You are simply in a huge hurry to judge him by your skewed and pacifistic standards. Not everyone believes that your property is not worth fighting for. YOU may, I don't, and obviously the man involved here did not believe as you either. And he has the LAW, (which you 'liberals' LOVE soooo much to cite in sooo many other debates) on his side. Yepper, he done the right thing. Good guys win , bad guys lose.
