Why are Obama-supporters and the Democrat-controlled-congress supporters, so upset about Free Speech and the Tea Parties?

Free Speech is only for The Chosen Ones.

Disagreeing with The Chosen Ones means you're an idiot and a troublemaker.

Questioning government actions means you're a rightwing extremist.

Welcome to 1933.

They're upset? All I've seen are opinions being expressed. That's called free speech too, you know.

Exactly.

I am an Obama supporter and I am not upset about the Tea Parties or Free Speech. I really dont care.

While you are all out throwing tea parties and crying , we are trying to figure out how to fix this country.

Unfortunately, when the country gets better, it will benefit you crybabies as well-those who dont deserve it as well. Oh well.

I'm not upset. I barely noticed it. I have better things to do.

Some tea partiers were probably well-meaning people with good principles. Most, I would guess, are clueless talk radio-addled goons. So, they have their right to free speech and I have mine.

Its the media that mostly seems upset and the very radical extreme left. The extremes of both parties seem upset most of the time with others free speech IMO.I didn't attend but it seemed very peaceful and respectful of the laws unlike so many.Good job of oraganizing and the crowd seemed full of normal everyday people that I saw.Just as many avoid such things because of the thugs; I expect that the next will be attended by mjore people who don't noramlly trust mass gathering of people protesting because of so many past problems.

Reporter Susan of CNN sure was upset. She was so upset that after she went after the people at the Tea Party protest she went on leave.

This is the most ridiculous protest EVER! We would all love it if we didn't pay tax. The USA is now in one of the worst financial problems since the Depression. This is NOT because of Obama or his tax policies, it is because of extremely bad leadership and decisions made by the last President.
It is now time for the republican press ( Hannity, Beck etc.) to get over the fact that the Democrats were elected in and stop criticizing every single policy, statement or idea that President Obama has. This is now way past stupid!
America is now in the cr****r and Obama has a huge job to rectify Bush's 8 year disaster.
Obama is NOT raising taxes for the majority of Americans..Fact!
America is now on the floor through the greed of the Wealthy CEO's etc. In the UK there is a budget next wek and most Brits are saying they do NOT mind a tax rise if it will help the UK recover.
Stupid "Tea Party" protests are NOT going to help America but only give people like Hannity, Beck and " President" Limbaugh credibilityand a good laugh at America's expense.

Don't worry too much. To most Americans their complaints are just background noise. Most people don't take them seriously.

Americans believe that the country is getting better, not worse, under Obama:
