Ever notice when the private sector is perceived to have malfunctioned, even if that perception is false, then, by God, the government needs to step in to make sure it never happens again. Private industry is not allowed to mess up. When it does, it's because capitalism and free markets are intrinsically bad, and invite mismanagement and malfeasance.

But when GOVERNMENT makes a mistake, the solution is NEVER for government to change its behavior or suffer consequences. No, no. When government makes a mistake, the solution is to give the government even MORE money so they can redouble their erroneous ways by doing the same exact thing, only more of it. We've been waging the war on poverty for 70 years. Several trillion dollars later, we hear how the poor are worse off than ever. That's why Obama needs to spend ANOTHER trillion. To cure poverty.

Democrats complain about a deficit of their own making. So is their solution to hold down spending until the deficit gets under control like you would expect?

Hello no.

The Democrat "solution" is to enact the greatest pork bill of all time, followed by the greatest pork omnibus of all time. Now they're talking about a second pork-laden stimulus bill. This is how they're going to close the deficit. By doing the same stupid-assed thing. And doing it on a much larger scale.

Any idea what would happen to a company in financial trouble, that, instead of cutting costs, actually increased their spending, hired more people, had more retreats, and threw more parties? Would that company survive? Of course not. Yet the Obama government is doing exactly that type of spending while everybody else is tightening its belt. Interesting how government never imposes on itself what those evil private-sector businesses have to.

Liberals always ask everyone else to sacrifice, to drive small cars, to save gasoline. Yet if you notice, liberals never do without. Amid their calls for a reduction of greehouse gases, they fly private jets to inaugurations. Instead of tightening their belts, they live like kings. They are too good to follow the edicts they issue to the masses. That's the definition of hypocrisy.

Not only do they fly private jets to inaugurations, they fly them to global warming conferences accross the globe -- not to mention vacations to ecologically fragile and exotic places like Madagascar!
