At some point doesn't Obama / Pelosi / Reid need to start getting some blame for this Bush recession which is quickly turning into a Depression? Before Democrats took over the House & Senate the economy had had 5 straight years of job creation and a 14,000 Dow.

When it can be shown that current policy has negatively effected the economy, then Obama can be blamed. That day hasn't come yet.

It takes years for policy to fully work its way through the system, so don't hold your breath.

I'm willing to bet this tripe is used as a campaign soundbite in 2012.

So Bush 1 should get credit for the Clinton boom years and Bush 2 should not get blamed for the Dot com recession of 2000/1

You can't put total blame Obama, but you can blame Pelosi, Reid, & Obama as elected officials, as they have been contributing to our mess for years.

Huh? What tripe? Tell me, how long does it take for an economy to absorb the effects of policy?

Yes very true. They are all part of the problem. Why they are still in office astounds me.

You can blame whoever you want. The fact remains. Fixing (or destroying) an economy doesn't happen overnight. We don't wake up one day, and magically, everyone's back to work. The DOW doesn't add 7000 points in the blink of an eye.

It's ridiculous to blame an administration that's been in office less than two months. Give it a year at least, then you can begin to judge policy decisions.
