He definitely said tax cuts for all those making less than $250k.
It was just another campaign lie apparently.
again, WHERE DID HE SAY HE WAS GOING TO DO IT DURING HIS FIRST 3 WEEKS IN OFFICE??????????????????????????????? WHAT PART OF "NOT YET" IS SO DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND?
Just because it hasn't happened YET does not mean it won't. That does not make it a lie, it means he can't do EVERYTHING he promised in the first 3 weeks.
Why can't he? He found $2 trillion laying around to spend on his pork programs. Why can't he find some money for a tax cut that he promised?

why can't he is not the question. The question is why are you all criticizing him as if he is not going to or as if he never intended to, just because it hasn't happened yet? why would it necessarily have to be part of the stimulus bill?
As per Senator Reid, announcing the deal reached on the stimulus bill today:
""More than one-third of this bill is dedicated to providing tax relief for middle-class families, cutting taxes for 95 percent of American workers," said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid at a Capitol news conference where he was joined by moderates from both parties whose support is essential for the legislation's final passage."
Her also is going to do it with payroll deduction. Estimated $20.000 a week extra. that is going to be much whenh the inflation kicks in from the stimulus spending in the near future.
