Boy, it's going to be a long 4 years for some people.

Obama was inaugurated, even though he's a foreigner. Geithner will be appointed. Hillary will be overwhelmingly approved tomorrow, despite the pathetic whimpering of Cornyn. Every silly fight they put up is going to be squashed.

Starting the same thread, over and over isn't going to make things any different for you. Why not use an existing thread in which the issue has been beaten to death? Link

So, it doesn't bother you that Geithner is a tax-dodger? What would you be saying if this were a republican?

Why the pass?

some had hope that Obama's change wouldn't be defined as having tax evaders in cabinet positions. funny to see the dem party rally around tax cheats.

Has the country gone insane with obamamania that such a thing could be considered a little hiccup?
Joe the plumber was behind a little over a grand and he was insulted so badly over it but it seems to be acceptable now because Obama picked him

Not paying taxes is no longer a big deal

I have to agree - can't hire him. Only as pure as the least ethical link in the chain, etc.

I mean, this is beyond comprehension, a man who failed to pay SS taxes, hired an illegal and also received compensation for those taxes he failed to pay - and didn't pay up completely until THE DAY HE WAS NOMINATED - the double standard here is just astounding.

Washington Times - Gingrich urges GOP to fight Geithner

Would any of us be allowed to get away with this? Isn't this the very essence of what is wrong with Washington politics?

Please, can the lefties on the board explain your reasoning and justification for giving this guy a pass?
