I would consider myself a 8 on fiscal issues and 10 on social issues, so overall a 9 I am fairly liberal in by the beliefs.
I am conservative on the environment, I dont really believe that much thought you be given to global warming and I am not a fan of people who like to open more then a resonable amount of open space and raise home prices.
I am conservative though on education taxes for K-12 I think like college that they should have tuition for K-12 so people with babies share the education costs.
I'm socially-Liberal and fiscally-Conservative. I believe in financial responsibility, yet I'm also in support of gay civil equality. I oppose abortion, but I also support the right to bear arms. I oppose the death penalty, but I also encourage hunting. I also support stem cell research. I've always opposed the war in Iraq, but I've also always supported the war in Afghanistan. I support our troops. I dislike President Bush, but I love Laura Bush. I guess on an overall scale I'd rank myself as a 7---a Liberal who can keep himself in-check. I believe in "live and let live" as long as the party involved isn't harming anyone else in the process (abortion), which, sadly, is something the Conservatives do NOT get (who decided you geniuses were the moral watchdogs who could prohibit two consenting adults from falling in love?)

I don't remember my exact score, but basically, the Dali Lama is my homeboy.
Thanks for the link! I was in the lower-left quadrant---the "Libertarian Left." The Dalai Lama, Ghandi, and Nelson Mandela share my views. I suppose this makes me a "no good, bleeding-heart, Godless Liberal?" LOL!
I'd say that across the board I'm probably an 8-9... I'm very conservative... probably closer to 10 on some issues (like abortion, the death penalty, etc.)
And I dont consider President Bush to be very conservative. I find he is pretty liberal on certain issues like immigration, and wish washy on true conservatism issues like anti-abortion measures. He likes to introduce legislation that have a low chance of succeeding like the gay marriage amendment to keep conservatives happy but most see through this. Like most politicians these days, he is controlled by special interests no matter what political party you belong to.
