I thought Heather Wilson would be a shoe in for his seat, but the NM Republican Party might have figured out that having her run, and maybe win might not be so good when the Hillary Clinton or John Edwards (guess that won't come to be now) DOJ comes knocking on her door.
I try to keep up with the polls on RCP but that doesn't give me a "feel" for the race. I'll be in Santa Fe and ABQ this weekend but not sure how much time I'll have for reading the local papers.
Let us know what's going on.

If you go to santafenewmexican, com you can read, or sign up to receive the Santa Fe daily newspaper. It is the oldest newspaper in the state. and has all the NM political news. It is on the Liberal side, but NM is a very liberal state.
