Though not a particularly political act but the fact that TV celebrity, Ellen DeGeneres married her foxy girlfriend, Portia de Rossi yesterday just makes it even harder for anti-gay Republicans from stopping California's freedom to marry act. Ellen is considered a "sweetheart" with day TV audiences of mainly women. These women voters will be yet another group of Americans who reject the bigotry & intolerance of the Republican party & will be influential in defeating the GOP's attempt to deny human rights for all Americans.

I love Ellen and Portia. I love Ellen for her sitcom from the 90s and Portia for Arrested Development. I'll admit that I was rooting for Ellen and Alexandra Hedison and was disappointed when they broke up (which I know sounds ridiculous because I've never even met these people!), but it looks like Ellen and Portia are great for each other. Oh, and Ellen is from Louisiana like me, so I get a little excited about that.

I hate Ellen. Not because she's gay but rather because she is simply NOT funny.
I think Ellen is funny though I don't watch your daytime program. I wish she would put on a little makeup though [Ellen is pretty minus her large nose but would look much better if she used a little bit of cosmetics, IMO.
