According to a study by the recruitment company Headhunter, an increasing number of Russians are having trouble covering all necessary expenses with their basic salary. As the Reuters agency notes, the situation of Vladimir Putin's compatriots worsened after the start of the invasion of Ukraine.

It’s heartwarming to see that Biden has something in common with Putin, the same is happening here in the USA.

Ukraine’s military has formed a battalion of soldiers made up entirely of Russian citizens, — Bloomberg.
It also includes people from ethnic minorities in Russia who traveled via third countries because they wanted to join the Ukrainian army, according to officials at their training camp.

Many of these soldier represent republics that have long wished for independence from Russia and now see a way to work toward that goal.

My own feeling is that it may take many more years, but in the end we will see the Russian Republic dissolve.

FWIW, India's Chief of Staff General Anil Chauhan shares my view and says that he sees the geopolitical importance of Russia falling as the world moves into the future, and that it being a major nuclear power will make no difference to this. He further stated that the Wagner rebellion shows an integral weakness in Russia, and indeed may indicate what may lie in Russia's future.

Why are we talking about putting boots on the ground for Ukraine? It's not Ukraine who needs boots on the ground - It is the Russians who need boots on the ground, extra missiles and hardware. They are the ones having the difficulty here. A military "superpower" reduced to a hardly regional power.

Most likely just Russian propaganda like Ukraine losing 15% of its territory.

Ukrainian forces marginally advanced in western Zaporizhia Oblast and continued offensive operations near Bakhmut on October 25. Geolocated footage published on October 24 indicates that Ukrainian forces made further marginal advances west of Robotyne. The Ukrainian General Staff reported that Ukrainian forces also achieved unspecified partial success west of Verbove (9km west of Robotyne). Ukrainian Ground Forces Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Volodymyr Fityo stated on October 24 that Ukrainian forces are conducting offensive operations near Klishchiivka (7km southwest of Bakhmut) and Andriivka (10km southwest of Bakhmut).

The US is sending weapons including the J-DAM glide bombs to Israel. It looks like Ukraine will get less. The war in Israel is not good for Ukraine.

Israel has been bombing targets in Syria. The puppet government of Russia there has been unable to do anything about it. And Russia is not doing anything to help its puppet regime. But what can Russia do to help the Syrian government? They are barely hanging on in Ukraine. There is no way the Russian bullies would take on Israel. Bullies prey on the weak. And Israel is not weak.

There is some good news for Ukraine closer to home. Donald Tusk will be the new PM of Poland. He is a strong supporter of Ukraine. Continued Polish support is vital for Ukraine.
