Whatever happens in Bakhmut will not determine the war. Both sides are focused on force regeneration efforts right now and it looks like its Russia, under great political pressure that has expended the most forces this winter with virtually nothing to show for it. That will come back to bite them this Spring and Summer. Meanwhile Ukraine is accumulating all those weapons and supplies from the west and they are just now getting to Ukraine. How many Ukrainian forces are being trained on this new equipment??...we don't know. We will get a clearer picture in the next 3 to 4 months. This looks like the period before the Kharkiv offensive when Russian forces culminated after taking Severodonetsk/ Lysychans'k. Time will tell. Michael Kofman an excellent analyst pointed out that what we are seeing right now is not that actual state of the war....We haven't seen Ukraine's Offensive yet....we have seen Russia's though even though it doesn't appear to have happened.
Ukrainian forces are currently doing Leopard Tank training in Poland
I agree with you...this spring we should see results of new the equipment just starting to arrive
in Ukraine....and if they get some MIG 29s from Poland...even better...
I don't know....but Russia could use a few volunteers....maybe join the Wagner group...
Russia is trying to recruit new residents from Europe and America. There's a program where they will give you 10 hectares if you agree to settle in Russia.

There have numerous posts about how a lot, if not most of those who live in Crimea, the Donbas, etc., identify as Russians and want to live under Russian rule.
They are free to do so. Sounds like they would be welcomed.
Curious how they would use the fighter jets. Russia is afraid to fly for fear of being shot down. I'm sure Russia has pretty good air defenses as well set up in occupied Ukraine. But then, maybe they haven't bothered because there was no threat.
According to the UN, the independent investigative team has found no evidence of genocide carried out by Russia in Ukraine.
Interesting wording. Does that mean between the lines that they have found evidence of genocide carried out by Ukraine?
