If Trump were president, this never would have happened. Trump was strong, Biden is weak.

You Don't Say ???
"It’s going to take a hell of a lot of work to make up for all the damage he’s done internationally and nationally," Biden said. "His network of thugs and co-conspirators are going to continue to try to undermine our democracy in the meantime."

"Imagine what he can do in another year," Biden continued. "Imagine what can happen to Ukraine."

The only thing more sickening than the entire DC cabal (politicos and media) lying for 4+ years about Trump and Russia was that people were stupid enough to buy it.

Remember Obama telling Romney at one of the debates, the 1980s called and wants its foreign policy back?
Russia wasn’t a threat until January 2017, when they made it up. Before then, Russia was walking into Crimea, Obama was promising flexibility, and all the rest, and nothing was done.

I finally realized today, with Hillary’s ill timed and completely non applicable video statement…

It isn’t that they actually believe Trump is Putin’s puppet.

It’s that they are actually mad at Trump for not starting a war.

They want a war. Hillary wants a war. Hillary can’t wait to send young American men to die. Why it’s her business is anyone’s guess, since she holds no elected office. And she’s pissed at Trump because he didn’t start the war she wants.

I hate all of these lying corrupt warmongers and no way in hell is my son going to go die or lose both his legs so they can keep their money laundering going. They are lying, cheating pieces of poop who sold out innocent lives by playing war games.

F them all.

Sorry, venting here.

No.
U.S. intelligence has known for almost 20 years Putin wanted to reclaim Ukraine.

Since the Crimean peninsula is almost an island, at first the West thought Putin would be pacified when he seized it in 2014. Odessa was a Unkranian city, but it had strong ties to Russia, and it's where the first revolt against the Russian Czar broke out, which ultimately led to the 1918 Russian revolution.

Since Putin wasn't satisfied, there won't be any more appeasement. But there may not be a wider war either, if the Russian army can take Ukraine quickly enough.

Hillary has nothing to do with any of these recent events, and neither Trump nor Biden started this.
It's all on Vladimir Putin alone. America, the EU, and none of the NATO allies ever wanted this war for any reason.

But all wars are infections that can spread unpredictably. I have sons too, and a daughter, and I don't want them to go off to die either.

But if the war in Ukraine does spread, it wouldn't take much for the Russians to spread it into Alaska.

We would still be producing energy on federal land.

Simple as that. Everything that Biden has touched has turned to shet

There's not much else you can do short of a military response, is there?
So far Biden has responded with weak sanctions - not the stronger ones that will really hurt that Trump would have likely implemented such as removing access to SWIFT, blocking all trade denominated in dollars and with US institutions. Biden cut US Oil and NG production, that made the Ukraine situation more difficult, the US is buying oil from Russia right now.

Trump might have provided Ukraine more help ahead of time with more arms transfers such as stinger missiles, anti-tank weapons and intelligence info - also more political support. There is much that can be done with threats of military response and behind the scenes action instead of the appeasement Biden seemed to show.

The US could have put a more stern message and threats that would keep Russia more hesitant to move troops close and engage to keep from risking war with the US, not the talk of "minor incursion" and dismissing the Russian buildup that Biden did that seemed to ignore or encourage Russian actions.

are the Russian troops moving in masked up and being tested for covid while moving in? We know the ones coming across the southern border of the US aren't being tested.
