From the CDC website:

"The current 7-day moving average of daily new cases (133,056) increased 14.0% compared with the previous 7-day moving average (116,740). The current 7-day moving average is 93.9% higher compared to the peak observed on July 20, 2020 (68,636)."

How come your site gives such different numbers? 68,121 vs 133,056

I don't know but found that site when looking for something else and admit to not double checking against any other since it does use CDC information.
There are many other places to check and I also admit I'm not going to so... anybody interested can just be cautioned that the one I posted may not be accurate.
