Yes, a large amount of people globally believe that Ivermectin can help lessen the symptoms of Covid (btw it's officially approved as a prophylaxis against Covid in some EU countries - Slovakia and the Czech Republic comes to my mind). It's not a religious belief like what we've seen with the "trust the science" cult. Hundreds of thousands front line health workers' first-hand experience is the basis of their belief about the potential benefit of this medication. Problem is, US doctors won't prescribe the human variety off-label, they are afraid of loosing their licence. These people are shamefully forced to buy animal medication. Period.
This is the first years of the AIDS epidemic all over again. The Fauci-led medical establishment refused to approve the medication Bactrim for Pneumocystis pneumonia (the leading cause of death in AIDS patients) and other immune-boosting therapies, instead they pushed AZT (the most expensive drug in history) on otherwise healthy HIV+ people in toxic quantities which caused thousands of unnecessary deaths. People had to flock to Latin America to get medication. Same sad story.
