Lifelong blue state resident here. They have no shame about double standards. They won't even bat an eye at the hypocrisy.

I think the timeline is too short to issue any sort of standardized ID system for vaccination. Bribing people to take the vaccine seems the most fruitful approach.

The blacks have no chance to get these. Not only do they have to figure out how to use the internet to get 2 shots, they also have to get a card. According to Joe Biden, this far exceeds their capabilities.

And they aren't very durable unless you get them laminated. I stopped carrying mine around after a couple of weeks, seeing the initial wear and tear. I have a picture of it on my phone but leave the physical copy in my files at home. If it was really intended to be used as some sort of "vaccine passport", it was poorly designed.

I don't know that we need something like that unless it's for travel, and that would, I assume, be controlled by the federal government just like passports are... but getting a regular driver's license can be a royal PITA, so I can't even imagine what it would be like for everyone to descend upon the DMV to try to get a different little symbol on their licenses next to the star.
Agreed. IF something like this is implemented, it would be at the federal level. Also, it seems like many states have little/no intention of participating in this.
