I don't agree that much with Maher overall. I do appreciate him calling balls and strikes like he does at times. He's one of the last liberals that call out his own, big respect for people of any stripe that do that.

I’ll watch Maher and I respect him. The other late night hosts like Kimmel and Colbert, or worse, Trevor Noah, make me retch as soon as I hear them. They hide safely behind the reductive narrative of White = bad, POC= angelic, and every dumb thing they say is some variation of that binary worldview. They are making America worse for it, but we always have hope when men like Maher continue to speak the truth.

It seems to me that Bill Maher has always seemed to reflect the mood of the U.S.

I take his current stance against "woke-ness" to be a good sign for the future.
