I’ve pointed this out a few times regarding the refusal to confirm or hear on Garland. But I’ll say it again.

In that case Obama was out the door no matter what. It was the last year of his second term. Regardless who won the election, he was out the door. It made total sense to wait for whoever won that election to be able to appoint and fill that seat. Had it been Hillary, she would have filled the seat, either with Garland as Obama wanted, or with a liberal leaning judge of her own choosing. President Trump won so he filled the seat.

In the case of Barrett, it was still President Trumps first term. Had he won, he would have filled that seat anyway with her. She was the perfect choice to replace that crazy old bat Ginsberg anyway. And had the dems really been so concerned, she could and should have retired while Obama was still in office and he could have replaced her. Instead the old crow decided to try and cling to life as long as she could out of spite. That was her choice.

Seriously folks-when you back your side doing stuff like this, you should not be surprised when the other side does similar things.

Typical Democrats, instead of minimal wage hikes and healthcare, they're worried about vengeance and power.

Will Biden unveil his commission to expand presidential term limits too?

If they move forward with the court packing thing we red states should declare an intent to secede from the union if they do. This should be a red line not to be crossed. We need to say to them cross this line and the union is done. That way they at least understand what the consequences of their actions are.

Of course we know that much of the leftist agenda is unconstitutional so the fact that they plan to stack the court is not surprising. They plan to remake America and they need the court neutralized to do it.

The group behind this is called Demand Justice headed by an ex aide to Chuck Schummer NY. The group's current henchmen appear to be Reps Ed Markey Mass and Mondaire Jones NY.

They've gone so far as to hire truck and plaster a billboarod on it's sides pressuring Justice Bryer to resign.

Or will this end up like many government projects... a bunch of money and resources thrown at favored friends and donors for awhile, and nothing really produced?

The debate over Supreme Court reform continued Wednesday as a White House commission heard testimony on a broad range of reform proposals, including adding seats to the court, shrinking its influence, increasing its transparency, and limiting the tenure of the justices. The all-day hearing was the second meeting of the Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States, a bipartisan, 36-member commission that Biden appointed in response to calls from some Democrats to expand the size of the court. The commission is tasked with studying potential reforms and submitting a report to the president this fall.
