The businesses & the sycophantic business-worshippers have a codependent relationship, it's not healthy.

There is no consumer spending without jobs. All of the wealth in the economy is based on the production of REAL goods and service. Government creates NOTHING.

Why are businesses or individuals taxed when the fed can create money and the govt can hand it out and forgive debt? Taxation seems like an archaic unnecessary exercise at this point.
Congress got rid of its powdered wigs over a century ago, time for them to get with the technology of the day and recognize the fed can fund us all.

ALL money is ultimately based on REAL GOODS AND SERVICES. Government spending must be paid for. Every man woman and child now is responsible for over $105,000 of debt.

Consumers pay corporate taxes. Why make them pay more and cut their spending power?

Easy to understand explanation:

No sales/rentals = no profits = no corporate income tax is paid.

Sales/rentals = profits = corporate income tax is paid out of sales/rent revenues.

Corporate taxes are a hidden tax on the consumer that negatively impacts the poor the most. Why is that? Because the poor must spend all or almost all their money buying/renting their basic necessities (food, clothing, shelter, etc. -- and, yes, large residential rental companies pay corporate taxes). The same is not true of higher-income earners.

Yeah because those corporate tax cuts ended up with all kinds of major manufacturing facilities being built all over the USA -- SAID NOBODY EVER BECAUSE IT DID NOT HAPPEN.

If a company does invest in another country that country sees wealth and most likely then will import more goods -- and if the USA can position itself with goods and services that are much desired in the world....we all win.

This notion that the USA doesn't NEED anybody is silly.

Many of you only look at one side of the equation.

While some policies may in fact boost other countries, boosting other countries is not always bad for the USA if managed properly.

Exactly so. It's extremely important to public employee pension plans that the return on their investments is maximized. Stock buy backs help accomplish that.

Increasing financialization has turned the economy into a casino.

Too bad I didn't see this. Allowed=enabled in this sense. So quick to make personal attacks, get some fresh air, the weather's great.
