But it's your side that wants laws to enforce your views. You want marriage defined as between a man and a woman and transgender identity banned entirely. The left simply wants people to be able to make their own decisions.

The only agenda of the left is stopping conservative Christians from imposing their religion on those who are unwilling. The fact that equality is oppression to conservatives show that a core tenant of their religion is forcing society to conform to their morality. If your message is that "gays should go back into the closet where they belong," then yes, you should be labeled a homophobe.
