Those two people would explain why NO ONE is at his side now? Where's Mitch McConnell? Where's Pence?
Where is ANYONE who should have been standing with Trump at that podium if they didn't think his claims were outrageous? Or giving quotes to the media in support of Trump?
If anyone actually believed what Trump was saying, they'd be there behind him on the podium. Even some democrats would be there, out of a sense of wanting to be on the side of the "good guys".
No one in this country wants to see the election process subverted, and if it were actually being fraudulently handled, there would be many, many people coming forward.
I wouldn't stand next to him either. He is behaving like a lunatic.
It would tend to make be believe the people on the other side of the window are being disruptive. Vote counters have a job to do. They should be able to do it without a boatload of morons who don't understand the elections process breathing down their necks.
Like I said, people are going to look at covering up windows where ballots are being counted with great suspicion. You can make all kinds of theories about why they did it, but was it really within their right to do so? Suspicion of their activity and what they were trying to hide is the natural response of freedom loving people who believe we as a nation have a right to the utmost of integrity and transparency in our election process.
And then there were multiple reports of poll watchers not being allowed to be anywhere near where they should have been in order to do their job.
Do you want random folks outside trying to photograph your ballot and how you voted?
Trump's so-called "poll watchers" are only there to shout and harass hard-working, honest poll workers counting ballots. It's an honorable job. It can be a very hard job. I know, because my Mom used to work at the polls for years, checking in voters and then on a few occasions also counting ballots.
