I'm inclined to agree with you, although considering his appeal to the Republican base, I wouldn't be surprised to see other Republicans trot him out for rallies every two years. I doubt he could refuse any opportunity to revel in the fawning adulation that he's grown accustomed to.
I'm convinced he'll start the Trump Channel...makes too much sense.
I expect a 4 year run up, starting tomorrow to the '24 election by The Dotard. Without the bothersome responsibilities of the oval office, the Impeached One would have been able to run a more effective campaign. He won't be bothered by those distractions starting tomorrow.
Nothing could be more appealing to the Great Pumpkin.
Trump doesn't care about the GOP because they haven't exactly endorsed him throughout his time in politics. This why people don't get it, Trump is really an independent.
Yes, seems many people have forgotten the Republicans did not want him in 2016, remember the little fiasco/conspiracy (whatever want to call it), where they were (or did they try?) to keep Trump from being the nominee?
I remember it was funny to watch Reince Priebus pretend to be enthusiastic. Then, of course, the punchline got elected and the joke turned out to be on the country.
He may do some rallying, though - he digs the ego boost and his fans still adore him.
Will he work with party officials to provide his time and resources to provide assistance in formulating a plan on how best to proceed with their stated agenda?
Is this a joke?
I'd bet good money that Trump starts holding fundraising rallies for his reelection campaign before the year is out.It is the best money making gig he's got going.
As to working with Republican party officials on how best to proceed in support of their agenda, what agenda?
IIRC, the Republican platform this time around is anything Trump wants. Why would that change?
No, when it's official he lost, he will have failed. The GOP has no use for failed candidates. You don't get second chances in things like this. The GOP will move on.
To be clear, this isn't an anti-Trump thing at all. I don't think he bounces back after a failure like this. Trumps failure makes the GOP look bad, and image and perception is incredibly important to powerful people. Trump will struggle to continue to control the narrative, once he has failed the GOP. He will drift from the limelight for good. We will all be surprised at how fast the GOP moves on, in my opinion.

Plus, how else is he going to earn enough to support his family and his lawyers?
His "wealth" is tied up in high overhead, money-losing properties. Some of which appear to be little more than money laundering operations.
He has a lot of debts coming due and no other way to pay them.
