Hell no. He's already vowed to kill tens of thousands of jobs, lock the nation down, return us to dependence on foreign energy.

I don't understand the caring about Israel in particular either. I mean, I don't wish it to disintegrate or for anything bad to happen to it, but the most important thing the people in this country should be concerned about is their own country. Right now its going downhill fast. Get this country fixed first and on the right track to productivity and a solid economy. Maybe after that worry about another country. Not too much though. If someone is that concerned about it, they may want to consider leaving this one and moving over there if that's where their sentiment and priorities lie.

Well, I didn't respond to a post talking about Democrats yet I can not deny the obvious that redistribution of wealth is socialism. My sister-in-law who vocally supports Socialism is also a Democrat supporter. I do not deny there should be some social programs such as fire and police department but implementing huge taxes on basically the middle class to go to some sort of financial need that is seen lacking for others--it can not be denied that that is a socialist property: you work for wealth that is in turn distributed by the government to public institutions. You can spin some other definition out to make it sound like it's not socialism but you would be blanketly wrong, unfortunately. Taking wealth from a person to give to the financially more needy (as determined by the government, whoever that may be not necessary the less wealthy) is a socialist characteristic. Whatever else you may say about it, that definition must be acknowledged. A 15% tax on citizens of a country is more than enough to do what is needed to do by the government. Anything much more than that you're approaching the fact that a person's wealth that they earned is being redistributed to other entities as seen by the government. That is socialism (I understand that some subjectivity is involved as what the limit should be).

I do agree with you that Capitalism as practised in this country is not true capitalism. Capitalism should not have a safety net. I love GM cars, but the company should have went under and another company with better business decisions and a solid product should have taken their place. That is the beauty of capitalism: You win or you lose and the market decides. You generally win by having a good product and by making good business decisions (in a economy where pure capitalism can be practised; such is not the case in this country which is why we do not see this occur). Sometimes you just have bad luck. That's the market. You bow out and the market is open for someone else to take their hand at it.

A little overdramatic, Biden BARELY is going to win, if at that. Plus, Republicans have the senate and co

Yeah, the best thing is, when 4 years of the Harris/Biden clown show is over there will no longer be any doubt about who was the worst President ever.
Nikki Haley smiles in her sleep. in 2024 she will have the full backing of nearly every reasonable politician. America will welcome the change.

Response: Opinion

The results of the polls ( as seen on TV ) are pretty much split in half, right down the middle.

Half the Country works to by.
The other Half sits back and gets high.

The GOPers are worried about the half of the country's non contributors...............

Not to mention that Republican control of the courts means executive action will be less potent.

The first two years of the Biden/Harris admin will be a whole lotta nothing.

I actually think this is a great first step for national healing and de-escalation. Dems get Trump out of there, but can't enact their agenda. Republicans lose the presidency, but don't lose much on policy.

It was a dagger in the heart of every Jew worldwide. Obama knew it was the single most damaging thing he could do to the Jews (and to please Allah? Or maybe it was just a personal vendetta against Bibi Netanyahu). Harris is nastier than Obama, but lets not pretend that ALL Dems don't still kowtow to Obama's wishes, and on the subject of harming Israel, Obama is passionate.

I don’t think anyone is afraid.

I will be interested to see his first interaction with Putan, after all the tough guy talk.
