Wow, regardless of who pulls out the win for the White House, it will be a squeaker. Nothing remotely close in polling for many of the swing states. The Democrats were supposed to gain more seats in the House. They ended up losing seats in the House. The Democrats were supposed to take over the Senate. The Republicans held the Senate.

Can the supporters of polling FINALLY admit the methodology they use is obviously very flawed and needs to be corrected?

We've been around this bend so many times. But I'll explain it again.

Republicans are lying about who they intend to vote for, to the pollsters.

Statistics are real. You can take information from a small sample, and extrapolate it over a large population.

Unless the information you get is flawed, and in this case, as in 2016, again, Republicans have claimed to be voting democrat but when they get into the voting booth they vote Republican instead.

Some people call it the "shy" republican vote, some people call it the "embarrassed" republican vote.

Going forward, it's likely statisticians will need to account for that misinformation given by the republican voters, and bump democrats down in the reporting results of polls.

But many people even right here were claiming the polls showing a huge blue wave were accurate. When we would bring up the fact they were not, we were laughed at. People just need to admit polling is not to be believed.

Polling will continue because it is one of the methods the Left uses to try to influence uninformed voters.

Once again we have learned that polling can not be held up as fact and that we should not put so much faith in them.

With the way the Democrat run media was hammering us with the polling, they were telling us that Biden was going to win in a landslide. The way the propaganda arm of the Dems were pushing the numbers on us we could call it voter suppression.

Polls used to be used by the honest media as a gauge but now they are being used by the Left to shut down voters.

This wouldn't be happening if Republicans weren't lying about who they intended to vote for. It was the data that was being entered in - responses by likely voters - that skewed the results.

You can say it ain't so, but it is.

The polling industry is going to collapse post-election. I've been saying it for a long time. They DO NOT know how to read the people anymore. The culture, technology and peoples' perceptions have all changed, and they don't know how they've changed, and thus can't adjust for it.

Trump specific I understand but polls also showed the Black Republican for Senate in MI loosing significantly to the White incumbent. Etc. Either pollsters are trying to shape public opinion or they methodology is junk.

or the Republicans that were polled in this country have pulled off the greatest prank of all time (twice).

Polling = The Media.

The Media can s*ck it.

Claiming it's a single thing (which happens to be a negative thing against your opposition, what a coincidence) which is the reason the polls were off (again) is naive, at best, and puts you in the same category as the guy you're arguing against.

Sure, that's part of it. They also oversample Democrats and have admitted to not being able to reach Trump's base to even poll them.

But it's all because those evil tRumpsters are lying, right? Gotta be those awful, racist people you hate soooo much. Anything else could poke a hole in that perfect little fantasy you have going there.
