They are tired of being depressed and locked up. They see happy people at the rallies and they want to be happy too.

I am registered independent in my state. (south dakota).... I see what you are getting at. Good to see. Trying to keep an outsider's perspective I see the democrats shooting themselves in the foot. If they lose they only have themselves to blame. They've made a variety of tactical mistakes in this election, just like the last one. I think they simply don't have an eye for what the average person thinks and believes, because they spend so much time in their liberal circles it's like an echo chamber to them. They have this mentality of they are more intelligent and smarter than the masses and we should just cave and do as they demand because they know what's best. Nobody likes people who nag at you constantly. Letting the protestors burn cities was another tactical mistake. They thought they could pander to a certain voting segment. There are others as well. Biden's debate performances, picking Kamala as the VP candidate...

MI, WI and MN don't register voters by party. There are ZERO registered Republicans in those states, although plenty of voters that always vote red and identify as Republicans, although they aren't registered as Republicans.

Right... From the same people who proudly claim they lie to pollsters to throw off the survey collections?

And from the same people who call themselves "independent" but check off all the concerns of Rightwing politics.... "I'm independent, but I think all guns should be legal and the Federal govt should be abolished" -Real independent voter

Sounds like a libertarian more than a typical republican.

Are you bringing this up, because you wonder how they know who is who at these events?

The parties have access to what party's primary you choose to vote in. They assume that if you always vote in the Democratic primary you are a Democrat.

I voted in the Democratic primary this time, and Republican party primaries in the past. Not sure what that would make me in their eyes.

Just as a general note, I've run the numbers on the claimed % at a rally, used the attendance rate to find out how many people that represented and looked at that vs the number of registered voters in that particular state several times in threads in this forum. It invariably amounts to around 1% of the registered Democrats or usually less showing up. I don't consider this specific statistic to be very significant in the sense people think it indicates.

Moderate democrat, like JFK. The ones that are in power now are not exactly democrats anymore. They are authoritarians in disguise as liberals/democrats, and most independent voters are seeing right through their crap. I was a registered democrat till Obama's first term showed me what they have in store. Using PC to destroy the first amendment, use kids to destroy the second, and then with the help of their China buddies, destroy the USA once and for all.

If the democrats of today get control of the country indefinitely, then what has happened to once beautiful cities like San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Chicago and NYC will happen everywhere. People are fleeing far left democrat run states like CA and NY because of the high taxes and cost of living. THis will be everywhere and we will all be homeless while politicians like Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton get to live like kings!

How are we sure they are there to support Trump? How do we know they're not grasses infiltrating the Republican supporters and then reporting back to their respective party (or the media) telling what they've seen and heard? It's not as if Trump rallies are open to registered Republicans only or am I wrong?
